Volvo XC60 Concept Car 2007

Volvo SC60 Concept is the original concept of the Volvo XC60 SUV. The Concept did come to production with many changes specially in the interior. The interior was changed totally from the original concept version. It was a nice concept car by volvo and i would like to see something with so cool interior come to production.

All the luxury carmakers’ are each taking their place and drawing the proverbial line in the sand as they compete against each other in the ‘four-door-coupe’ segment. Porsche has the Panamera, Mercedes-Benz has the CLS and now Volvo has put out renderings for the Volvo SC90. It’s a futuristic premium four-door-coupe. The designer is Nouphone J. Bansasine who designed the car during his internship at Volvo in 2007. It was the summer of that year when Volvo asked him to start working on a new elite model for the automaker. No word yet on if the car will go into production.

Volvo 3CC Concept Car 2005

Volvo showed a new concept the 3CC at the 2005 Detroit Auto Show. The 3CC concept has an unusual seating configuration with two seats up front and one passenger seated behind in the center of the car. The 3CC, for production renamed the Volvo C30, dropped the unpractical seating layout in favor of a more conventional plan. The C30 is be based on the existing Volvo S40 platform.

Volvo S80 concept car 2007

Volvo S80 is a concept car from 2007. Its a little old but the car looks awesome specially the led fogs or whatever you call them are just fabulous. The car was a great concept by volvo. The version that came out in 2007 was a little different then its concept. Below are some pictures of the original concept car of the Volvo S80.

Volvo S60 Concept Car 2009

Volvo has unveiled the Volvo S60 Concept Car that was premiered at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) in January. Powered by a four-cylinder 1.6-litre petrol engine that features GTDi (Gasoline Turbocharged Direct Injection) technology, Volvo S60 Concept may develops 180 hp and emits 119 g/km of CO2, with a fuel economy of 5.0 l/100 km.

Volvo S60 Concept which will hit the market in 2010, features Collision Warning with Full Auto Brake and pedestrian detection.
